CocaCola Bottling Company - Brampton ON , Canada
When Coca Cola proposed to build a new 425,000 square foot production and warehouse facility in Brampton , ON they had very specific heating and ventilation requirements. The building was divided up into three areas (packaging, palletizing and warehouse) each with distinct ventilation requirements. |
Inviro Engineering turned to Temprite Industries due to the industrial quality of construction and long reliable service life. Ed Carney of Kilmer Environmental Inc., the local Temprite representative, worked with Inviro to select a combination of floor and roof mounted Indirect Fired Units each with the ability to provide 0 to100% outdoor air.
In the warehouse area large indoor floor mounted Air Turnover Units where selected to provide even temperature distribution throughout the entire space with only 2-3 degrees of stratification. Floor mounted units saved hundreds of thousands of dollars over the initial concept.
The packaging and palletizing areas required six air changes per hour to insure proper de-stratification and control of airborne particulate. Floor space was limited in these areas so the decision was made to go with fewer rooftop units but with greatly increased capacity to maintain good coverage.
The result was a complete heating and ventilation system that met all of the customer requirements while providing savings in capital, installation and energy costs.
