Two Pass Indirect Fired Duct Furnaces

The indoor GTD Duct Furnace offers complete flexibility to the engineer and owner to meet any design need. Controls can be set up for space heating, make-up air or a combination of both. The standard two pass indirect fired duct furnace is a horizontal-suspended unit.

GTD series duct furnaces have nominal heating capacities from 200,000 to 1,400,000 BTUH (input) and air handling capacities from 1,481 to 34,568 CFM.

Features

  • Unit is designed for mounting in-line in ductwork with upstream air handler by other manufacturers.
  • The indirect fired heater is a two section, two pass, configuration. Both sections are manufactured of series 400 stainless steel.
  • Flanges are provided for connection to ductwork and all control, gas piping, and draft fan are mounted externally to the ductwork.
  • GTD duct furnaces feature the patented digital high turndown burner technology for combustion efficiencies as high as 92 percent.

2-Pass Heat Exchanger

Compact and Efficient

The 2-pass design of the GTD results in a compact heat exchanger that can fit more easily in existing ductwork than alternative designs. The heat exchanger tubes and collector boxes are all made of 400-series stainless steel. The very high efficiency of the DHTD burner can result in condensation and the use of stainless steel provides an extended life for the heat exchanger.
